Travelogue: Australia is a big country with lots to do. And, in case you didn't know, it's also an island. Australia's Great Barrier Reef is the most amazing collection of life on earth, stretching for hundreds of miles along the country's northeastern shore. Queensland is home to tropical rainforests filled with diverse plant and animal life. On our three trips there, we visited Sydney, Cairns, Brisbane, Gladstone, Port Douglas, Fitzroy Island, Heron Island, northern coastal Queensland and the tropical rainforest area around Kuranda. We managed to capture a stunning Sydney sunset, along with aerial views of Heron Island and the Great Barrier Reef. And, of course there are plenty of koala, kangaroo, giant clam and clownfish pics. There is so much more of Australia that we would like to see, but it would take several additional trips to cover all of the main attractions.
